I'm not plotting to frustrate Osinbajo's govt, says Saraki

Date: 2017-07-07

Senate President Bukola Saraki, has denied reports that he is planning to destabilize the government under Acting President, Yemi Osinbajo.

A report had it that the Senate President, was planning with oil marketers to stop the supply of fuel, and thereby creating fuel scarcity.

SaharaReporters had in a tweet said, "@bukolaSaraki has met with oil marketers to shut down, create massive fuel scarcity against @ProfOsinbajo."

But reacting via his official twitter handle, @SPNigeria, Saraki said this tweet from "Saharareporters is pure and unadulterated fake news."

He added, "The Senate President has worked hard to revive the economy and create equal opportunities for all Nigerians through the legislature.

"The Senate President will never cause such harm to the nation or Nigerian people. Hence, this story has no iota of truth."
