Atunwa mourns Balogun Fulani
The lawmaker who represents Asa/Ilorin West at the House of Representatives described the news as a rude shock. In a press statement issued by his media office, Atunwa said "the news of Balogun Fulani's death is a rude shock, he passed away at a time when his wealth of wisdom is needed in resolving daunting challenges confronting our nation."
Condoling with the Emir of Ilorin and the Kwara State Government, Atunwa prayed that Allah will grant everyone the fortitude to bear the huge loss. He characterized the late Balogun as a diligent and committed leader who demonstrated great passion towards the development of Kwara and Nigeria as a whole.
He prayed that Allah forgive his sins and grant him Aljanat Firdauz. The late Balogun died in Ilorin at the age of 76.
