Late Adewusi, a true changer - Gov Ahmed
Kwara State Governor, Alhaji Abdulfatah Ahmed has described the late former Inspector General of Police, Chief Sunday Adewusi as a true changer of Nigerian Police Force, who brought unprecedented level of growth to the force. Governor Ahmed who made the remark Wednesday in Ilorin when he paid a visit to the family at his residence, expressed his heart-felt condolence to the family.
According to him " the former police boss left an indelible mark in the Nigeria Police Force which is a standard to measure against in terms of quality, steadfastness among others in the force. "The value and virtues he stood for will continue to reverberate in the Police Force and the family".
The governor who extolled the virtues of the deceased described him as a disciplinarian, stressing that the value and virtues which he stood for would be carried on from generations to generations. The governor who prayed God to grant the deceased eternal rest also prayed God to grant the family to bear the loss.
Responding on behalf of the family, the deceased's son, Aderemi Adewusi expressed gratitude to state government and the people of the state for support shown since the demise of their father, adding that his father had strong ties with the people of the state.
