BVN Verification: Kwara Government promises easy and timely salary payment

The Kwara State Governor, Abdulfatah Ahmed has promised that the Biometric exercise and workers verification through the provision of Bank Verification Numbers, BVN, will ease and end delays in salary payment.

The Governor issued the statement, during a meeting over the weekend with the All Progressive Congress, APC, stakeholders.

The Governor also promised speedy infrastructural development in the state following the approval and receipt of the N20 billion bond expected to be facilitated by the Debt Management Office.

According to the state Governor, the release of the Bond will facilitate projects such as; the expansion of some major roads in the state capital, construction of two new campuses of Kwara State University in Ilesha-Baruba and Osi in Baruten and Ekiti local government areas respectively.

He added that the infrastructural development "With increased internally generated revenue, youth empowerment and employment programme" would also improve tremendously.
