Kwara State Govt. recruits 107 health personnel
No fewer than 107 Health personnel have been recruited by the Kwara state government for effective and efficient health care delivery in the state.
The state commissioner for , Alhaji Sulaiman Atolagbe Alege disclosed this on Wednesday while declaring open a day sensitisation workshop for Hygeia stakeholders in Ilorin.
Alege said the present administration placed a top priority to the general wellbeing of its citizenry through provision of health to all government hospitals in the state.
The commissioner appreciated the foundation for its contribution toward reducing the spread of HUV /AIDs in the state.
According to him, the foundation had contributed immensely in making the state free from illness.
In her remark, the coordinator on HIV/ AIDS, Hajia Salimat Lawal commended the state government for the opportunity given the foundation to contribute to the healthcare of the people, especially people living with HIV/AIDS.
Also in his contribution, the representative of Hygeia, Dr Olubunmi Adebiyi applauded the state government for making the state free from the diseases.
Adeniyi however enjoined the state government not to relent in its support to the foundation in order to meet the desired goal of its collaboration.
