Omo Ibile Igbomina embarks on guest house
The new executive members of Omo Ibile Igbomina have received a pat on the back for embarking on a guest house that will be of benefit to not only the Igbominas but all the people of the state and even beyond.
The commendation was given by the Jagunmolu of Igbomina, Alhaji Raheem Oladimeji, during the foundation laying ceremony of the guest house over the week-end.
Chief Oladimeji, who could not hide his joy over the project, enjoined the people to ensure speedy completion of the project so as start serving in purpose.
He appealed to the past leader of the organization to continue assisting the new leaders and equally called on all Igbomina sons and daughters, both at home and abroad to join hands with the executive so as to achieve the laudable aim.
Earlier in his welcome address, the National President of the Organization, Dr. SAB Atolagbe, had expressed his appreciation to the Igbomina traditional rulers and the elders for sparing time to witness the ceremony.
He also expressed appreciation to all Igbominas in the government for their cooperation and assistance, and prayed for their success in the government.
According to the president the guest house is to serve as source of income for the omo ibile igbomina and will serve as a relief for "our people who usually come for meettings from outside the state and lodge in hotels.instead of going to hotels they will find this guest house suitable for them".
He assured that the guest house would be completed and commissioned this year and appealed to all Igbomina people to rally round the organization to achieve its laudable aim.
In a chat with our correspondent, the architect in charge of the project. Arc. Olaniyi Adekeye disclosed that the guest house will cost N10 million and it will contain 10 rooms with conference room, reception, restaurant and kitchen.
He said the guest house was so designed in such a way that allows for future expansion and additional facilities.
