The newly appointed Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice, Barrister Kamaldeen Ajibade has promised to sustain his previous achievements in office.
He gave the pledge when he assumed duty yesterday.
Barrister Ajibade was received back to the office he occupied in the last administration by the Permanent Secretary of the ministry, Mrs F. D. Lawal, directors and members of staff.
He expressed delight for his reappointment back to the ministry as the Chief law officer of the state.
He thanked the staff for the support they accorded him in the last tenure and solicited more support and cooperation in the task ahead.
Barrister Ajibade also reminded members of staff of the responsibilities of law officers and called on them to work tirelessly with the state government considering the shortfall of funds presently being experienced in the state.
While assuring the staff their welfare would be paramount to him, he urged them to remain loyal to the constituted authority.
