Abdulrahman rues defeat at Wolves

Date: 2015-09-14

The llorin outfit were pegged 0-3 by the Seasiders in the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) match day 29 clash at the Warri City Stadium.

Abdulrahman said his side started the match brilliantly but failed to hold on, eventually losing the match by a massive three unreplied goals.

"We started very well in the first half but later lost concentration, thus allowing Warri Wolves to score the match opener at the added minutes of the first half.

"The same poor concentration at the backline continued in the second half, which cost us the additional two goals.

"Warri Wolves had their chances and they made maximum use of it while we wasted the few that came our way.

"We played to a draw in the first fixture clash in llorin. We came here with the sole aim to pick a win or worst case scenario a point but we lost heavily.

"We will continue the fight to stay afloat in our subsequent matches with better attitude and mentality," said the former Wikki Tourists coach to supersport.com. The defeat at Warri Wolves leaves Kwara United's total earnings at 32 points from possible a 87 points in the 29-week old Nigerian top flight.
