The ancient town of Offa, headquarters of O f fa Local Government Area of Kwara State has witnessed unprecedented achievements within the last two years, courtesy, the present Olofa of Offa, Oba Mufutau Gbadamosi Esuwoye II.

This is contained in a congratulatory message to the monarch by the national leadership of Offa Descendants Union (ODU) on the Oba's second year on the throne.

In the message, jointly signed by the union's National President, Chief Harnzat Adetunji Adedeji and the General Secretary, Honourable Dele Abodunrin, the union described Oba Mufutau Gbadarnosi Esuwoye II as "a Messiah sent by God to transform the ancient town of Offa considering what is on ground in the town within the last two years."

The union recalled with great delight the complete renovation of the Olofa's palace and the Offa Central Mosque, Offa which the union said was singlehandedly funded by the Oba as well as the on¬going construction of the Ultra-Modern ODU Hall and renovation of the old one among others.

The union added that "there is mutual understanding between the people of Offa while the monarch has also created unity among the traditional rulers in Offa and Oyun Local government areas hitherto absent before the ascension on the throne of the Olofa," urging the traditional ruler not to rest on his oars.

It implored the entire people of Offa to give the much-needed support, cooperation and loyalty to enable him (the Olofa) to take the ancient town to greater heights.
The union then prayed God to grant Oba Mufutau long life, sounds health, divine wisdom and more prosperity
