The Resident Electoral Commissioner in the State, Doctor Emmanuel Onucheyo, has assured the people of Kwara that necessary machinery has been put in place by the commission to ensure hitch-free Elections.

With few days to the 2015 General Election, the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) in Kwara State says it has so far distributed sixty three percent Permanent Voter cards to the Electorate in the State.

Doctor Onucheyo, said this in Ilorin, Kwara State North central Nigeria during an interactive session with newsmen

He explained that the Commission had also established close relationship with stakeholders and media outfits in the State to ensure orderliness before, during and after the Election.

Doctor Onucheyo, said some of the logistics put in place by the Commission for this month Election was the introduction of new PVCs, remodeling ballot boxes and card readers among others.

Our VON correspondent reports that the commission had also embarked on training and retraining of staff ahead of the Election, including security agents.
