Kwara United players demand 'outstanding wages'

Captain of newly promoted NPFL side Kwara United FC of Ilorin, Sherif Jimoh, has revealed the players’ resolve to fight for their entitlement after helpind the club back to the top flight.

Jimoh told National Mirror yesterday that the club’s management did not give the players any mandate, saying the feat was achieved through hard work and dedication.

“We only decided on our part to do the club proud and we are happy to have achieved success,” the team captain said.

“However, we believe that the management should appreciate our effort and pay us all our outstanding wages so that we can be more determined for next season. “Specifically, we wish to appeal to the management to ensure that the outstanding 30 per cent of our entitlement is paid without delay.
