Kwara Police warn party's supporters against defacing rival's posters
The Kwara State Police Command has called on all political parties in the state to warn their supporters against defacing posters of rival's political parties.
The state Commissioner of Police, Mr Ambrose Aisabor, who made the warning while speaking with newsmen in Ilorin, said the command will not fold its arms while some unscrupulous elements foul the peace of the state.
He explained that the police will continue in its roles in ensuring that laws and orders are not violated.
He noted that anyone or group arrested violating the warning will be severely dealt with in accordance with the law of the nation.
