Kwara South stakeholders in Lagos endorse Gov Ahmed for 2nd term Kwara indigenes in Lagos from the state's southern senatorial district at the weekend endorsed the governor, Dr. Abdulfatah Ahmed, for re-election next year.
In a communiqué issued at the end of a Kwara South Lagos stakeholder's summit at the Teslim Balogun Stadium Surulere, Lagos, on Sunday, the stakeholders said the governor's performance in office compels a need for his continuity for another four years mandate.
Organized under the auspices of APC Kwara South, Lagos Chapter, the summit was attended by representatives of the different communities from Kwara south senatorial district in lagos. Governor Ahmed, from Share, Ifelodun Local Government, is from the southern district.
In the Communiqué signed by Alhaji Fatah Amolegbe, Mr. Tayo Awodiji and Mr. Olamide Olaosebikan, the Summit commended Governor Abdulfatah Ahmed for his landmark achievements not only in Kwara south but in all parts of the state.
The Summit supported Continuity in Kwara state and specifically endorsed the second term bid of Dr. Ahmed as Governor of Kwara state.
At the Summit, participants deliberated on the forthcoming voter's registration exercise and resolved that Kwarans in Lagos should go home for the exercise.
Participants also resolved to create awareness and undertake mobilization in the different Kwara south communities in Lagos for the voter's registration exercise and the 2015 general elections.
Individual financial contribution and corporate sponsorship are necessary first and urgently for mobilization at home for the voter's registration exercise and later for the General Elections.
