Muslim group holds prayer session for abducted girls in Ilorin
Muslim Women Charitable Association, Ilorin recently organised a prayer session for the safe return of some school girls abducted in Chibok, Borno.
The prayer session which featured recitation of several portions from the Holy Quran was held at the palace of the Emir of Ilorin, Alhaji Sulu Gambari.
The founder of the group and wife of the emir, Hajia Rafat Sulu-Gambari, urged the Federal Government to intensify efforts in securing the country's security.
She also charged the country's security agents to collaborate with their foreign counterparts in securing the release of the abducted girls.
The emir's wife appealed to Nigerians to provide the security agents with useful information in fighting terrorists.
The founder also advised Nigerians to love one another irrespective of ethnic or religious affiliation, saying this would promote peace and harmony.
Hajia Fatimoh Saheed, who had earlier led members of the association in prayers, prayed to God for quick and safe recovery of the school girls.
Saheed also prayed for peaceful co-existence in the state and the country at large.
