2 bag 22 years for abducting Biodun Baraje

An Ilorin High Court Judge  has sentenced two kidnappers, Ajadi Oba AbdulRasheed and Ayeni Abayomi, to imprisonment for criminal conspiracy to commit kidnap, extortion and armed robbery in respect of Biodun Baraje, son of the former acting National Chairman of Peoples Democratic Party, Alhaji Kawu Baraje.

It would be recalled that AbdulRasheed, Abayomi and two others at large, kidnapped  Abiodun Baraje  on February 4, 2010 at  Success and Regards Filling Station along Asa Dam Road, Ilorin.

Justice  Mahmud AbdulGafar, while delivering  the judg-ment, said two others that were connected with the offences, Rasaq and Yakubu AbdulRasaq, also known as Alfa Taiye, were still at large.
