Ahmed expresses gratitude on birthday celebration

Date: 2013-12-31

The Kwara State Governor, Dr Abdulfatah Ahmed, has expressed profound gratitude to traditional rulers, religious leaders, and people of the state, friends and well-wishers across the country for the love and compassion shown to him on the occasion of his birthday.

Gov Ahmed in a statement issued by his Chief Press Secretary, Alhaji Abdulwahab Oba, said the overwhelming outpouring of love and goodwill by the people was a morale booster for him.

He, however, assured the people that his administration remained committed to the pursuit of programmes and policies that will drive the creation of more employment opportunities and deepen the value of shared prosperity.

The governor recalled his pledge that over 5,000 jobs will be created in the New Year as part of human capital development of his administration.

Ahmed therefore called on the youths to disassociate themselves from being used as agents of destruction.
