The sealing of the company was carried out at the office of the company, opposite Government Secondary School, Ilorin, along Murtala Mohammed road, by the officers and men of the NSCDC led by the head of the private guard of NSCDC, Deputy Commander Joel Olaoye.

In the process, the corps also arrested the operator of the Illegal Private Company, Mr Dosumu Akin.

Addressing journalist at the state headquarters of the NSCDC, Ilorin, on the development, the state Commandant of the corps, Mr Augustine Obiekwe said the company violated the NSCDC Act number 2 of 2003.

Mr Augustine said that it was the mandate of the corps to seal, arrest and prosecute any operator of the illegal Private Security Guard Company.

He explained that the conditions for operating a private guard company included registration of the company with the corps, while the company must have two directors and the owner of such company must also be a Nigerian.

The state commandant of the corps however warned the people of the state to guard against operation of illegal security guard companies, saying that any person arrested will face the full wrath of the law.
