This gesture evidently implies that the people are truly ready to participate in the forth coming election fully and make the change we are all yearning for a reality.

Even though reports show that there are a few challenges in the collection of the cards at some polling booths in the state, I want to encourage our members who are yet to collect their cards not to relent, but ensure they get registered starting from Wednesday 20th of August.

I also task our members who have collected their cards to motivate others at all levels to ensure they get their cards. Generally, I must commend INEC for the good orientation given to corps members who have been very matured and committed in the exercise so far. I urge INEC to speedily look into the problems faced in some polling booths in Kwara and ensure the problems are fixed at the shortest delay in order to uphold the confidence the masses have in INEC.

As we look forward to the commencement of fresh voter's card registration on Wednesday 20th of August, I urge all legally qualified persons to come out en mass and register in order to participate in the forthcoming election, the change begins from now, do not miss out!
