Belgore mourns Kwara NAN Correspondent, Shola Owolabi
"Our condolences also go to the Kwara NUJ and the media community at large for the loss of Mr. Owolabi," Belgore said in a statement by his media aide, Rafiu Ajakaye.
Belgore described Shola as a "thoroughbred professional", praying the Almighty to grant him eternal rest and his family the fortitude to bear the huge loss.
The statement added: "Shola's death is shocking and sad not just because he was a young man who was full of life but because he was a thoroughbred professional who tried as much as he could to let the world see events in balanced, nonjudgmental ways.
"Shola will be sorely missed. We pray the Almighty to grant him rest and his young family the fortitude to bear this huge loss. Good night Shola!"
