Chief R. O. Balogun, SAN, has been re-elected Chairman of the Nigerian Red Cross Society (NRCS), Kwara State Branch, at the branch's Annual General Meeting held at the NRCS Kwara State Branch Secretariat.

Members overwhelmingly returned Chief Balogun for another term in recognition of his exceptional performance, which has propelled organisational growth, sharpened humanitarian response capabilities, and markedly raised the profile of the Red Cross across Kwara State.

Chief Balogun, who also serves as a Board Member at the National Headquarters of the Nigerian Red Cross Society and as Zonal Chairman of the North Central Zone, received warm congratulations from members who expressed strong confidence that his fresh mandate would further advance the society's humanitarian objectives in the state.

In his acceptance speech, the senior advocate expressed profound gratitude to members for the renewed trust placed in him and pledged to continue steering the affairs of the branch with utmost dedication and integrity.

He appealed for continued support and cooperation from all stakeholders to enable the Kwara State Branch of the Nigerian Red Cross Society to reach even greater heights during his new tenure.
