Governor AbdulRazaq Welcomes Appointment of Col. Lawal to NCC Board

Kwara State Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq has warmly welcomed the appointment of Colonel Abdulwahab Lawal (rtd) to the board of the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC), alongside other distinguished Nigerians.

Col. Lawal, who currently serves as Chairman of the Kwara State Education Trust Fund an initiative pioneered by the AbdulRazaq administration is recognised for his astute leadership and public service excellence.

In a statement, the governor commended President Bola Tinubu for the appointment, describing it as a perfect fit.

"The appointment of Col. Lawal is a round peg in a round hole," Governor AbdulRazaq said. "He is a cerebral administrator and a true statesman whose experience and integrity will be of immense value to the commission."

He expressed confidence that Col. Lawal and his fellow appointees would excel in their new national roles, contributing meaningfully to the development of Nigeria's telecommunications sector.

The governor extended his best wishes to all newly appointed members, urging them to uphold accountability, innovation, and service excellence.
