Kwara State Governor Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq has appointed Mr. Alayande Fatai Olajide as the state's new Auditor-General.

ROYAL NEWS reports that Olajide's appointment was confirmed by the Kwara State House of Assembly on Tuesday. Born on 24 December 1982 in Owode Ofaro, Ifelodun Local Government Area, Olajide holds an MSc in Finance, an MBA in International Business, a BSc in Forensic Accounting, an HND in Accountancy, and an ND in Accountancy, among other certifications.

A seasoned professional, Olajide is a member of the International Academy of Forensics, Forensics Investigation and Criminal Intelligence; the Chartered Institute of Forensic and Investigative Professionals; the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN); and the Association of Certified Islamic Finance Professionals, among others.

His career spanned across many corporate organization including, Michael Ogundele and Co, Chartered Accountant and Tax Practitioners, Equatorial Petroleum Coastal and Process Limited, and OLUSILE FOWORA AND CO CHARTERED ACCOUNTANTS.

Until his appointment, Mr. Alayande Abdulfatai was the MD/CEO of FH-Rectitude Consulting firm.
