KWASU's Research Repository Joins Prestigious African Digital Network
Kwara State University's Institutional Repository (KWASU IR) has been listed on the African Digital Research Repositories, marking a milestone in the institution's digital academic footprint.
The repository serves as a vital digital platform for archiving and providing access to academic publications and information resources. Professor Abdulsalam Abiodun Salman, the University Librarian, hailed the inclusion as a pivotal development that will elevate the university's visibility and bolster its local and global rankings.
“This listing underscores KWASU's commitment to advancing scholarly communication. It enhances access to research outputs, fosters knowledge sharing and collaboration, and enriches the teaching and learning experience for our academic community,” Professor Salman stated.
Professor Salman lauded the determination of the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Shaykh-Luqman Jimoh, whose proactiveness and support he said, led to the establishment of the repository Professor Salman expressed confidence that the KWASU IR would enhance research activities within and outside the University.
To get listed on African Digital Research Repositories, KWASU developed a rigorous submission and review process to ensure high-quality content.
