Date: 2025-01-01

Kwara State Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq has extended heartfelt condolences to Alhaji Tunde Akanbi, Chairman of the National League of Veteran Journalists (NALVEJ) in Kwara State, on the demise of his mother, Hajia Falilat Ajibike Akanbi-Oriokoh.

In a statement, Governor AbdulRazaq described the late Hajia Falilat as a matriarch who lived an exemplary life of service to God and humanity. He urged the prominent broadcaster and his family to find solace in the impactful legacy left behind by their mother.

The Governor also sympathized with the Ori-Okoh family of Ilorin Emirate, noting that Hajia Falilat's passing comes just weeks after the loss of another illustrious member of the compound, Hajia Aminat Modupe Ibrahim.

Governor AbdulRazaq prayed to Allah to grant Hajia Falilat and all departed souls Al-Jannah Firdaus and to provide strength to the bereaved family to bear the loss.
