Kwara State Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq has been applauded by the Joint Academic Staff Unions of Tertiary Institutions (JASUTI) in the State for the payment of their allowances and arrears, as reported by the Kwara State Government.

The Commissioner for Tertiary Education, Dr. Mary Arinde, made this known while meeting with JASUTI in her office. She described Governor AbdulRazaq as a listening leader who is always ready to improve the lives of all dedicated workers in the State of Harmony. Dr. Arinde urged the unions to reciprocate with better service delivery to encourage more rewards.

Speaking at the meeting, the Chairman of JASUTI, Comrade Salahu Omotayo, commended the State Governor for ensuring that the entitlements of his members were promptly paid. He disclosed that it was the first time they had received such arrears from the government and appreciated the government for the kind gesture. Comrade Omotayo also promised the unflinching support of the unions to the administration of Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq.
