The Vice Chancellor of the University of Ilorin, Prof. Wahab Olasupo Egbewole, SAN, has called for intensified advocacy efforts by the National Universities Commission Parastatal SERVICOM Committee (NUC/PSC) to raise awareness among Nigerians about SERVICOM's contributions to public service.

The delegation's visit coincided with the 4th Quarter 2024 NUC/PSC Meeting hosted by the Unilorin SERVICOM Unit. The Vice Chancellor noted that while commendable work is already underway, enhanced advocacy would enable more Nigerians to appreciate SERVICOM's efforts in driving service delivery across the country.

Prof. Egbewole, who appreciated the Unilorin SERVICOM Unit, headed by Mrs Omowumi Azeez, for living up to expectation by promoting efficient and effective service delivery in the University, especially praised the SERVICOM's role in monitoring prices of commodities on the campus to prevent overbilling the students.
