NOA Kwara Welcomes New State Director Following Retirement of Olusegun Adeyemi
Voice of Nigeria reports that, the National Orientation Agency (NOA) has announced the appointment of Dare AbdulGaniyu as the new State Director for Kwara, succeeding the retired former Director, Mr Olusegun Adeyemi.
The announcement was made during a formal handover ceremony in Ilorin, which marked the end of Mr Adeyemi's distinguished career and the start of a new chapter for NOA in Kwara.
Mr Olusegun Adeyemi, who has reached the age of sixty, is retiring after years of dedicated service to the Agency and the nation. Renowned for his compassionate leadership, affable nature, and steadfast commitment to promoting national values, Mr Adeyemi has been pivotal in furthering NOA's mission to instil patriotism, encourage civic engagement, and foster national unity in the state.
In his farewell address, Mr. Adeyemi expressed his gratitude to the staff and stakeholders for their support throughout his tenure.
He highlighted the progress made in deepening the public's understanding of the National Values Charter and promoting civic responsibility through innovative campaigns and community engagement.
“As I bow out today, I leave with a sense of fulfilment, knowing that NOA Kwara is on a strong footing
“It has been an honour to serve this great institution, and I am confident that my successor, Alhaji Dare AbdulGaniyu, will continue to uphold the principles of integrity, patriotism, and service that NOA represents. I extend my best wishes to him as he takes on this important role.”
The new State Director, AbdulGaniyu, brings a wealth of experience and a fresh perspective to NOA Kwara.
Having served in various capacities within the Agency, he is well-equipped to build on the foundation laid by his predecessor and continue advancing the Agency's objectives in the state.
Dare is the immediate past State Director, Kogi State, a position he occupied before his deployment to Kwara State.
In his inaugural speech, AbdulGaniyu expressed his appreciation for the opportunity to serve as the new State Director and pledged to work diligently to uphold the values of the NOA.
He acknowledged the remarkable achievements of Mr. Adeyemi and emphasized his commitment to fostering greater public participation in national reorientation programs, with a focus on utilizing modern technology to reach all corners of the state.
“I am deeply honoured to take on this role, and I look forward to continuing the work of promoting national unity, civic responsibility, and patriotism in Kwara
“With the support of the dedicated NOA team, I am confident that we will achieve even greater milestones in advancing the objectives of the National Values Charter.”
The ceremony was attended by senior officials from NOA's national and state office and all commended Mr. Adeyemi for his outstanding contributions to the Agency and wished him well in his retirement.
