WOSA President Commends Tinubu for Appointing Ambassador Mohammed as NIA Director General
As reported by the Nigerian Tribune, the national President of the Wushishi Old Students Association (WOSA), Dr Zubairu Ibrahim Tswachi (Chigari Lafiagi), has commended President Bola Tinubu for appointing Ambassador Mohammed Mohammed as the new Director General of the National Intelligence Agency (NIA).
In his congratulatory message to the new Director General, Dr Tswachi praised Mohammed for his exceptional commitment to transparency and passion for equity.
Dr Tswachi also expressed his gratitude to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for recognising Ambassador Mohammed's suitability for this vital national role.
He also extended his appreciation to Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazak of Kwara State, Sadauki Lafiagi, and the Chairman of the Nigeria Governors' Forum for their unwavering support.
The statement noted, �The National President of WOSA, who is also the National Vice President 1 of the Lafiagi Descendants Development Union (LADDU), the apex socio-cultural organisation of Lafiagi Emirate, expressed confidence that the NIA boss will remain committed to the principles of transparency, accountability, and equity that Nigeria desperately needs.�
�On behalf of WOSA and LADDU, I want to extend our heartfelt felicitations to you as a beacon of hope for our dear nation,� the statement added.
The National President wished the new DG of NIA the best in his new role.
In a related development, the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Wushishi Old Students Association and Pro-Chancellor of Abdulkadir Kure University, Minna, Prof. Mohammed Kuta Yahaya, and Secretary of the Presidential Livestock Reforms Committee, revealed that Ambassador Mohammed Mohammed's appointment as the new Director General of the National Intelligence Agency is the result of hard work, commitment, dedication, and outstanding professionalism.
Kuta Yahaya, a former Secretary to the Government of Niger State, expressed optimism that under the leadership of the new DG, the NIA will achieve greater levels of proficiency and responsiveness in fulfilling its constitutional responsibilities.
