Governor AbdulRazaq Establishes University of Education and Teaching Hospital

Date: 2024-05-31

According to a news report from the Kwara State Government Facebook Page, Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq CON has taken a significant step forward by signing the Kwara State University of Education (Establishment) Law, 2024, and the Kwara State University Teaching Hospital Law, 2024.

The signing ceremony took place today at the Government House in Ilorin, officially establishing the Kwara State University of Education and the Kwara State University Teaching Hospital.

Notably, under Governor AbdulRazaq's administration, there has been no increase in tuition fees across state-owned tertiary institutions since 2019, despite inflationary pressures.

This decision reflects the Governor's commitment to ensuring that higher education remains accessible and affordable for all qualified students, providing them with competitive opportunities for a brighter future.
