Kwara North Politicians Rally for 2027 Governorship Bid
According to a news report from DAILY TRUST, prominent politicians from the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), and other parties in Kwara North recently assembled in the Moro Local Government Area.
Their collective resolve? To employ democratic means and secure the governorship for the zone in the 2027 election.
This gathering, which included traditional rulers and residents from the five councils constituting the district, signifies a significant push for Kwara North to reclaim the governorship slot.
Since the advent of democracy in 1999, no indigene of Kwara North has held the state's highest office. The stakeholders' meeting, facilitated by the Kwara North Youth Consultative Forum (KNYCF), emphasized unity across political affiliations in pursuit of this shared goal
