According to the Nigerian Tribune, Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq of Kwara State has urged the 2024 Batch A Stream 2 corps members to prepare themselves to contribute to national development.

Speaking through his Special Adviser/Counsellor, Alhaji Saadu Salahu, at the swearing-in ceremony held at the NYSC permanent orientation camp in Yikpata, Edu local government, the governor emphasized the importance of deploying their youthful energy towards the country's development.

“Onus rests on you to be physically, psychologically, and socially ready to face the rigours of nation-building as full-fledged Nigerian adults who are well imbued with the attributes of good citizenship and patriotism.

“I want you to justify the confidence reposed in you as leaders of this great nation by making patriotism, discipline, good conduct, honesty, and hard work your watchwords throughout the duration of the course and thereafter.”

Governor Abdulrazaq assured continuous support for the welfare and security of serving and newly deployed corps members, affirming his administration's commitment to youth development in the state.

In his welcome address, the NYSC Kwara State Coordinator, Mr. Onifade Olaoluwa, expressed gratitude to the governor for his support while urging stakeholders to complement government efforts by providing necessary infrastructure and projects beneficial to the corps members and camp participants.
