Kwara State Governor, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, has told All Progressives Congress (APC) members in the House of Assembly that their victory came with renewed responsibility to deliver more to the people for the confidence reposed in the party.

Congratulating APC on the victory of all its candidates at the Court of Appeal, including the reclaiming of the Odo-Ogun State Constituency in Oyun Local Council, the governor said the capture of Odo-Ogun gave APC all the 24 seats in the Assembly.

He said: “The victory reaffirms the confidence of the people in our party and the government, and that the party ticked all the right boxes in the electoral process.

The governor expressed confidence that the legislators would continue to represent the interest of the people, while commending the judges for “standing firm by the law and resisting any blackmail or threat in the discharge of their constitutional duties.”
