Date: 2023-08-28

Valiant FC has today announced a ground-breaking partnership with Kwara Football Academy as both parties revealed that they have signed a Memorandum of Association to discover and develop grassroots talents.

The Nigeria League One side announced the deal with the 'The Creative Championship' team which has been in the works for a few months as both parties will now work for the ultimate goal of developing young talents and giving them opportunities to start their professional careers.

Speaking after the deal was agreed, Valiant FC team owner Japheth Zubairu revealed his excitement to the new development as both parties look to forge an enviable relationship.

“This partnership is a watershed that will open a new vista for a productive relationship between us and KFA, I'm excited about the development”.

“The academy stands tall as a hub of football talents in the country, so we need to create a window of opportunities for the talents that abound in it,” he added.

“This is a good partnership for all parties involved and we are excited to move this relationship forward. KFA is notable to be a frontline in modern day football development in Nigeria with a lot of talents going through the academy year in, year out.”

KFA administrator Mallam Bako Ibrahim said – “The academy will continue to explore all the available means in order to connect its players with real opportunities.”

He further noted that the partnership is coming as a result of the potential and prospect of the academy, further explaining that the management believes it's going to bridge the gap that exists between the players in the academy and the rest of the world.

“This academy is known for producing great football talents. Our products spread across Europe and other parts of the world and we hope that this partnership will serve as a springboard to export our products to the world as we continue to sustain the inception message of the academy,” he said.

The MoU will have a major focus on moving exceptional players from KFA to Valiant FC for further development and exposure to new opportunities.

Both parties will also share business ideas, templates for player development, and modern football management best practices.
