Armed ex-convict caught with charms at Kwara rally
A 44-year-old man was on Sunday arrested at the All Progressives Congress campaign at Ilorin, Kwara State, by the police with two locally-made pistols and charms.
The suspect, Safi Abolaji, aka Ojulari, was allegedly caught at the rally which held at Ojuekun Sarumi, Ilorin West Local Government Area of Kwara State.
The state Police Public Relations Officer, SP Ajayi Okasanmi, in a statement, said the suspect, who was a member of the opposition party in the state, confessed to be a cult member and an ex-convict recently released from prison.
