She specifically mentioned the Adeta roundabout in the capital, where illegal dumping of refuse still persists unabated after the Ministry of Environment's intervention in clearing the wastes.

The Commissioner expressed grave concern that such unhygienic habit of the people was disturbing to the state government.

She vowed that "the present administration will leave no stone unturned to achieve its goals of making the state safe for everyone."

The Commissioner advised the people to avoid indiscriminate dumping of refuse in the metropolis and other parts of the state to avert any epidemic.

According to Buraimoh, "this waste dumped illegally has a lot of health hazards to humanity, people are diagnosed of so many ailments like cholera, different kinds of infections, communicable diseases and others which results in illnesses."

She urged everyone to imbibe the act of living healthy by avoiding indiscriminate dumping of refuse on road medians, roadsides, and illegal places.

"Let every one make use of the robins at strategic locations or wait for waste contractors plying the route for adequate disposal, shop owners and offices should patronize the commercial waste contractors," she added.

The commissioner advised citizens of the state to cultivate the habit of absolute cleanliness as this will have more impact on their supplications to Allah in this period of Ramadan.

Responding, the Mogaji Ile Awo, Adeta, Mallam Saka Rahmon thanked the Commissioner and her team for the prompt visit and proactive action taken to nip in the bud a possible outbreak of diseases in the area.

He pleaded with the state government to come to their aid by intervening to evacuate the waste from the area while promising to apprehend and bring to book anyone caught dumping refuse indiscriminately in the area.
