It was a memorable day for Durumi Orphanage Home, Gwanrinpa Abuja, over the weekend when Hon. Mashood Mustapha, the Special Adviser to the Senate President, Dr. Abubakar Bukola Saraki on Intra-parliamentary Relations, Protocol Matters and Special Duties, alongside his wife, Alhaja Taibat Mustapha and children, including Barr. Mariam Mustapha, visited the place to mark his 54th birthday the orphans.

Mustapha, as a father who believes that parental care is very key in the life of every child, showed the motherless babies some love with huge gifts as his supports for their welfare and educational obligations. Apart from the gifts, he moved round the centre to play with the children and assessed the facilities in place to know the deficient ones to provide for them.

It's also worth recalling that at the earlier period of yesterday, 11th March, 2017, a special prayer was organized in his Ilorin residence by his staff under the leadership of his domestic aide, Mr. Ahmed Abdulkareem, to mark the 54th birthday of their principal. The annual prayer which was anchored the Imam of Hon. Mashood Mustapha Mosque, GRA Ilorin, was attended by many of his political associates and admirers.
