Emirate Stakeholders Forum Mourns Sardauna of Ilorin

Date: 2021-02-01

Members of the Ilorin Emirate Stakeholders Forum join sympathizers to mourn the demise of the Late Sarduana of Ilorin Emirate, Alhaji Umar Aminu Saro Olokonla (CFR).

In a condolence message signed by the President of the association, Engr. Yusuf Olatunji Ahmed and made available through the Publicity Secretary, Bolaji Aladie, the group described the late Saro as an upright industrialist and exemplary philanthropist that dedicated his life to advance the developments of his community and beyond. He was a progressive patriot that left his footprints across the length and breadth of the Emirate.

"Ilorin has indeed lost an enigma person, the late Alhaji Umar Saro, especially at the time that his wisdom and development expertise are much needed in the affairs of the Emirate in particular and Kwara State in general."

The group prays to Allah to grant the deceased families, the Emir of Ilorin, and by extension, the Muslim and business communities the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss the death would cause them.

"May Allah Grant him Janatul Firdaus"
