Igbonna Megun Festival Starts Today
Kwara State governor, Alhaji Abdulfatah Ahmed is expected as the special guest of honour at the commencement of 2012 Igbonna Megun Day today.
The Igbonna Megun Day and launching of N100 million development fund is expected to be graced by dignitaries such as Oba Abdulganiy Ajibola Ibrahim, the Elerin of Erin-Ile; Oba Yahaya Olatoyese Olanipekun I, the Olugbonna of Igbonna, among others.
According to a release signed by the spokesman of the Igbonna in the diaspora, Mr. Adeyemi Brown, the five-day programme begins today with the arrival of Igbonna indigenes in the diaspora and will end on Sunday with the grand finale at Local Government Education Authority Primary School, Igbonna.
