Speaker, Kwara State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Engr. Yakubu Danladi-Salihu has congratulated Nigerians for scaling through year 2020, despite the tribulations and afflictions that characterized the outgoing year.

The Lawmaker called on Kwarans to sustain their resilience in the coming year 2021, to build a renewed hope and optimism in self, State and the Nation, to consolidate on the modest progress made in the outgoing year notwithstanding the daunting challenges, a statement by his media aide, Ibrahim Sheriff reads.

"On behalf of my Honourable colleagues, management and staff of the Kwara State House of Assembly, I wish Nigerians, and particularly Kwarans a Happy and prosperous New Year 2021.

"I indulge us all to remain resilient in the coming year 2021 and collectively, build renewed hope and optimism in ourselves, State and Nigeria, mindless of the tribulations of the outgone year, to consolidate on the modest progress made in the outgone year", he added.

Danladi-Salihu reassured Kwarans of the commitment of the 9th Kwara legislature to delivering people oriented legislation and reflect the interest of the Kwara masses in the discharge of its duty.

He also paid tribute to illustrious Kwarans and loved ones lost in the year 2020 and prayed God forgive their shortcomings and continue to rest their souls. End.
