Hijrah 1442 AH: Saraki felicitates with Emir of Ilorin, Muslim Ummah in Kwara

Former Senate President, Dr Abubakar Bukola Saraki has felicitated with the Emir of Ilorin, Alhaji Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari, Muslim Ummah in Kwara State and across Nigeria on the inception of the New Hijrah Year, 1442 AH.

Saraki, in his Hijrah message, which was signed by his Press Officer (Local Matters), Abdulganiyu Abdulqadir, expressed "gratitude to Almighty Allah for allowing us to witness the outset of another Hijrah Year."

He prayed to Allah to continue to bless Kwara State and Nigeria as a whole and restore peace to every troubled area in the country.

Saraki also urged Muslim faithful in the state to uphold the spirit of sacrifice and selflessness and continue to pray for the peace, progress and development of Kwara in particular and the country in general.

"I wish all our Muslim brothers and sisters a Happy New Year in the Islamic calendar. May Allah bless our country and restore peace across the land," he stated.
