Hon. Atunwa Kwara PDP Governorship candidate, Hon Razaq Atunwa has met with Kwara State PDP Assembly Candidates in Ilorin with a view to winning landslide, the forth coming general elections in the state. In attendance during the meeting were; the Director General Kwara PDP Campaign Organisation, Prof. Abubakar Suleiman, Deputy DG Central, Hon Ladi Edun, Deputy DG Kwara North, Hon. Issa Bawa , Deputy DG Kwara South, Hon. Khaleel Bolaji among other party stalwarts.

In his speech during the meeting, Atunwa stated that the meeting was to identify some of the problems affecting some of the constituencies with a view to finding a lasting solution to them. The gubernatorial candidate therefore appreciated the legislative hopeful for their supportive activities for the party structure in their respective constituencies, on behalf of the Senate President, Dr. Bukola Saraki and encouraged them to do more.

At the meeting, Hon. Olarewaju popularly called Larry, a candidate to represent Ilorin North/West constituency (Alanamu /Ajikobi Constituency), congratulated Hon. Atunwa for emerging the PDP candidate. He stressed that Kwara would experience massive development when Atunwa emerges Governor of the state owing to his ocean of knowledge and exposure.

He however called on other candidates to rally supports for the governorship candidate in terms of mobilization, towards his success in the election.

Hon. Samsudeen Bada, a candidate to represent Irepodun Constituency who was overwhelmed with the arrangement of the meeting, assured that the meeting would bring success to PDP, particularly Atunwa. He also promised to deliver his constituency to Atunwa and all other PDP candidates come 2019.
