The leading Governorship Aspirant on the platform of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Rt. Hon. Dr. Ali Ahmad has described the death of Hon. Funke Adedoyin representing Irepodun/Isin/Ekiti/Oke-Ero Federal Constituency as sudden and tragic.

Dr. Ahmad, who is the Speaker of the Kwara State House of Assembly further while expressing shock over the incidence,described her demise as a colossal loss to the people of her Constituency, Adedoyin family and the entire PDP family.

The Speaker's reaction which was contained in a condolence message issued by his Media Aide, Shuaib Abdulkadir lamented that Kwara State has lost one her best representatives in the person of the late lawmaker.

He said, without mincing words, the late legislator had performed excellently in the House of Representatives within the last three and half years despite being a first timer at the Hallowed Chambers.

Dr.Ahmad who rued her passage regretted that the deceased would be sorely missed, not only by her colleagues, the House,but the state at large.

He stressed that Hon. Adedoyin was exceptional at the House, as she was responsive to the yearnings of her Constituents as well as prioritising what enhance their well-being.

The governorship aspirant prayed God to grant the deceased eternal rest, the Patriarch of Adedoyin family, Pa Samuel Adedoyin and other members of the family, the people of Irepodun federal Constituency,the Senate President, Dr. Bukola Saraki, the Peoples Democratic Party, government and People of Kwara State the fortitude to bear the irreplaceable loss.
