CHAIRMAN, Congress committee of the All Progressives Congress( APC) in Kwara state for today state congress of the party, Senator Salihu Hussein, has said that the party is one in the state.

Speaking on the preparation of the state congress in Ilorin on Friday night, Senator Hussein debunked every insinuation of a parallel congress by any aggrieved party member in the state, saying that the party is doing well in the state and at the federal level.

He promised to look into complaints by party members towards sustaining admirable leadership and good governance being championed by the party in the state.

The congress committee chairman, however, expressed satisfaction with the way and manner party leaders were handling the affairs of the party.

ALSO READ: Oyegun turns back Obadara billed to chair Delta State APC state Congress Hussein also said that the Congress committee would ensure strict adherence to the guidelines of the party on the conduct of party congress, adding that the Congress would be credible and transparent.

Earlier, the state chairman of the party, Hon. Ishola Balogun- Fulani said arrangements had been made for a hitch-free congress.

He enjoined delegates to conduct themselves in a peaceful and orderly manner as they did in the previous ward and local government congresses.
