The Speaker of the Kwara State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Dr. Ali Ahmad has been described as a politician with class and difference.

An Ilorin based Islamic Cleric, Sheikh Mohammed Toyin Salati stated this while delivering his sermon at the fidau of the Speaker's Grand Mother, Laylatul Raji held at Saadu, Moro Local Government Area on Tuesday.

Salati said Dr. Ahmad was very distinct among his contemporaries because according to him, his humble background had in no small measure prepared him to thrive in every public offices he has held.

He further described the Speaker as very experienced and intellectual personality, challenging other political office holders to emulate Dr. Ahmad to enable them discharge effectively in their various offices.

The Cleric who prayed Allah to continue sustaining the legislator, guide and guard his affairs to enable him achieve more, however enjoined him to sustain the tempo.

Earlier, Sheikh Ahmad Gambari described the deceased as very fortunate person prayed for her repose and called on God to grant her Al-Janah Firdaus.

Gambari also prayed Allah to provide the families the fortitude to bear the irreplaceable and irreparable loss.
