After defeating the Oluyole Warriors, the goalkeeper believes his side can upset coach Kadiri Ikhana's men in Kano on Sunday

Abubakar Bukola Saraki FC goalkeeper Abdullahi Boje is confident that his side can pull off a shocking win against Kano Pillars at the Sani Abacha Stadium.

After the Saraki Boys secured a 2-0 home victory against Shooting Stars in Ilorin, Boje believes they are capable of upsetting the former champions on Sunday.

"Our target going to Kano is to get all three points," Boje told Goal. "I believe we can win in Kano. There is nothing special about Kano Pillars.

"We respect every team before matches, but not during the match because most of them are not better than us.

"They all only carry big names but on the pitch, we are the same. So we don't need to panic like we are going to war.

"We have no serious injuries for now because most of those injured are back in training and we will be ready for the match.''

The Saraki Boys had recently suffered their first defeat this season in 3-0 away loss to Lobi Stars, which the skipper blamed on the loss of concentration, but urges his teammates to fight to finish in Kano.

"We did well against Lobi Stars but the loss of concentration saw us concede two goals in four minutes of added time. Even the fans applauded us in Markudi,'' he continued.

"I will tell them that we have to fight from the blast of the whistle to the end. We have to stay focus and play to the instruction of the coach.

"We know that our coach has a game plan for the [Kano Pillars] match and we have to play to his instructions and be well prepared too. "We have already spoken to ourselves and I'm confident we will get a meaningful result in Kano."
