An Ilorin based Microfinance Bank, Apex, last Friday disclosed that its capital base has hit N82million, which is an increase of N62million over and above Central Bank's N20million lifeline for Microfinance Banks in Nigeria. The bank's Head of Business Development, Mr. Oyebode Hashim, said with its capital base, Apex Microfinance Bank Limited is the most capitalised microfinance bank in the state.

He said by the end of the year, the bank will open branches in other parts of the state, adding that the CBN's standard for state wide operation of Microfinance bank is N 100 million.

Hashim disclosed that the bank has about 10,000 clients and urged more people to open account with the bank, promising that the bank will continue to render quality services to all its customers.

He said, the bank is planning to introduce Cashless Policy, which he called Bank 1, and added that it will be done through the use of software.
