The senator representing Kwara Central Senatorial District, Dr. Abubakar Bukola Saraki, Emir of Ilorin, Alhaji Dr. Ibrahim Sulu Gumbari and others are to grace the 56th anniversary of Queen Elizabeth School, Ilorin.

The programme of the anniversary made available to newsmen in Ilorin, indicated that Senator Saraki will be the Guest of Honour while the State Governor, Alhaji Abdulfatah Ahmed will be the Special Guest of Honour as the Emir of Ilorin, Alhaji Dr. Ibrahim Sulu Gambari will be the royal father of the day.

Others on the award list includes Mrs. Sarah Jubril, Senior Special Assistant to the President, Mrs. Remi Oyo, Managing Director, News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) and Justice Fati Abubakar, all old students of the college.

The occasion has Dr.Abubakar Olusola Saraki as the father of the day with the wife of the State Governor, Mrs. Omolewa Ahmed as mother of the day while the Nigerian Ambassador to the Royal Kingdom of Netherlands, Dr. (Mrs.) Nimota Nihinlola Akanbi is the chairperson of the day.

The ceremony, which will feature endowment, and launching of the anniversary magazine, award and dinner, also has Dr. (Mrs.) Opadokun as Guest Speaker while the Olofa of Offa, Oba Mufuta Gbadamosi Oloyede will be the Chairman at the epoch occasion.

Special recognition will also be given to the founder of Al-Hikmah University, Ilorin, Alhaji Abdulraheem Oladimeji, while posthumous award will be given to the iron magnate Alhaji Raheem Tejumola Onirin.
