Kwara Government would host the Central Conference of the 2016 Milo Secondary School Basketball Championship in Ilorin between May 5 and 12.

The State’s Coordinator of Nigeria School Sports Federation (NSSF), Moshood Lasisi disclosed this in an interview on Saturday in Ilorin.

He said that 10 states including the host Kwara would compete for honours in the seven-day event that would be staged at the University of Ilorin basketball court.

“The participating states include, host Kwara, Benue, Kaduna, Katsina, Kebbi, Nasarawa, Niger, Sokoto, Zamfara states as well as FCT,” he said.

He said that already, Kwara has set up six committees to ensure a hitch-free competition of the Central Conference finals.

The committees include those of medical, security, venue, transport, accommodation and publicity. (NAN)
