Governor Ahmed commends Kwara Falcons for Fresh Win

The Kwara State Governor, Alhaji Abdulfatah Ahmed has once again congratulated the State's female basketball team, Kwara Falcons for their successive wins in the ongoing 2016 Basketball Premier League.

The team on Friday defeated Lagos Customs by 92-71 points in the third game of the Atlantic conference. Kwara Falcons next match comes up on Sunday by 4:00 pm.

Governor Ahmed in a statement by his Senior Special Assistant on Media and Communications, Dr. Muyideen Akorede, applauded the team and enjoined them to sustain their impressive record by winning tomorrow's match and their remaining games of the season.

He noted that the good people of Kwara State are proud of the team's performance so far and would be happy to see them winning the league.

The Governor also assured them of the support of the State government, while reiterating the commitment of his administration towards the development of sports in the State.
