Kwara table tennis association registers six for U-16 NTTF League

Six players, three boys and three girls will represent Kwara state in the forthcoming 1st National U-16 Table Tennis League scheduled to hold at the Knock-up hall of the National Table Tennis Training Center, National Stadium, Lagos, between March 30th and April 8th.

The team will be led to the competition being organized by the Nigeria table Tennis Federation (NTTF) by Coach Kehinde Aiyelabegan and the Association Secretary, Asaju Folashade.

The duo pledged that the players will give good account of themselves at the competition and do the state proud, and also improve on their rating.

The players are Sukrat Aiyelabegan, Rofiat Jimoh, Falana Iyanu, Abdullahi Issa and Awwal jawondo.

All the preliminaries will hold at the national Table Tennis Training Center, while he final will take place at the Sir Chief Molade Okoya Thomas Sports hall, Teslim balogun stadium, Lagos.

Meanwhile, former Kwara table tennis coach, late Amos bajulaiye Olowolagba will be buried on March 31st, in Ebute Meta, Lagos, after the wake keep a day before.

Late Olowolagba joined Kwara State Sports Council in 1990, and retired in 2013.
